Florida estate documents, built from the statutes — not from a blank AI page.

Your answers drive a clause library reviewed the way attorneys review forms — the AI never writes the binding language. Florida-specific provisions arrive with their statute citations, and every document includes a built-in AI review.

Fla. Stat. § 732.502

A Florida will must be signed at the end before two attesting witnesses, who sign in the testator’s presence and each other’s.

Fla. Stat. § 744.3045

A preneed guardian declaration lets you name, in advance, who serves as your guardian if a court ever appoints one.

Fla. Stat. § 744.3046

Parents may separately declare a preneed guardian for minor children, effective if no parent can serve.

The Florida estate bundle

Five instruments, each assembled deterministically from the clause library with Florida’s source-cited overlay — each delivered with its built-in AI review.

Will or living trust? Six facts decide the lean

Deterministic — computed, not generated

Educational triage, not advice — tick what is true and see which way the facts lean.

A Florida will may be all you need

Your situation looks straightforward, so a properly executed Florida will could cover it. Either way, in Florida you also want a will (it names guardians for minor children and acts as a backstop), a durable power of attorney, and healthcare directives — and Florida homestead rules and the spousal elective share apply regardless of which you choose.

Facing a Florida court matter?

Free, plain-English checklists to get organized for the most common civil matters — answering a debt lawsuit, responding to an eviction, small claims, and fee waivers — with the official forms and legal-aid referrals. Self-help information, not a filing service.

Clause provenance: every clause earns its place

These cards are derived directly from the clause library and Florida’s clause pack — not written by hand, so they cannot drift from the documents they describe. For every clause: where it comes from, whether the facts decide it, the statutes cited inside it, and the AI’s role (none — the model never authors this text). Full coverage detail lives on the coverage & verification page.

The Florida probate desk is being built — the engine is already live

Administration-path routing (disposition without administration · summary · formal, including the ch. 2026-57 changes effective July 1, 2026), the § 733.702 / § 733.710 creditor-claim clock, the § 733.6171 / § 733.617 fee presumptions, and probate contacts for all 67 Florida counties on file — deterministic, statute-cited, and test-covered. The county-aware court packet builder assembles on top of this engine next.

Probate quick check

Deterministic — computed, not generated

A first look at which Florida probate path may fit, plus what the statutes presume for fees — education to bring to a licensed attorney, not advice.

Self-help education, not legal advice and not a fee quote. A licensed Florida attorney can confirm the right path for the actual estate.

Twelve probate filings, assembled the deterministic way

Each filing below is a parameterized, attorney-reviewable template with statute and Probate Rule hooks — the model never authors the operative text. They assemble inside the packet flow (the engine decides the document set per administration path), not the generic drafting picker, and every one is a draft for licensed-attorney review and filing — the platform does not file.

Execution, the Florida way

Florida (Fla. Stat. § 732.502): sign your will before two witnesses.

  • Sign at the END of the will in front of two adult witnesses, who then sign in your presence.
  • Use witnesses who get nothing under the will — naming a beneficiary (or their spouse) as a witness can void that gift.
  • Add a notarized self-proving affidavit (Fla. Stat. § 732.503) so the will can be admitted to probate without tracking the witnesses down later.
  • Florida does NOT recognize handwritten (holographic) wills — it must be typed and witnessed as above.
  • Florida authorizes electronic wills (ch. 732, Part V).
  • Execution rules change over time — confirm this against Florida’s current statute, and have a licensed attorney review anything you’re unsure about.

The same execution engine prints these formalities into every exported document’s guidance appendix.

What we claim — and what we don’t

Florida provisions are tailored from Florida’s statutes and carry their citations in the document notes. We do not yet assert a “verified state-exact” guarantee: that claim is gated in code until a licensed Florida attorney signs off on each instrument, and every document says so honestly. Have a licensed Florida attorney review before signing — the document itself reminds you.
